Beyond the illusion…
Perhaps, some readers are already familiar with the picture above and have seen what one is supposed to see. For those who haven’t tried it yet, I urge you… follow the directions given… what you’ll see might even give you goose bumps. It does to me.
Unfortunately, surfing the net… I found out that there is nothing miraculous nor amazing in the above picture. There is actually a logical explanation for it. It is just an optical illusion… a play of images and lights, with the eyes and its coordination with brain and all nerves in-betweens. Purely scientific and nothing phenomenal about it.
Hardly inspiring… or is it? Science explains everything… but faith is beyond science.
Because science notwithstanding… everytime I see Christ in the picture above, it gives me a feeling of calmness. Cause I know that He is near us… always near us!
Sometimes He seems to be out of reach that we can’t see Him… but as the exercise in the picture proves to us, He is always near. We just have to close our eyes from the worldly materials that we see around us… so we can focus our sight… and see Him better
The image that we see above could be an illusion… but the feeling that we get when see Him is not…
it is far beyond illusion…
go ahead… close your eyes… see Him… feel Him…
and while you’re at it… talk to Him…
He is always near… just waiting for us…
