A reason for everything and everything for a reason
“You Are Not An Accident”
That is the title of the second chapter of Purpose Driven Life
Even before we were born, even before we were conceived by our parents, God already knows us and He already has a plan for us.
Every single structure of our body, God planned it all. Our race, family, talents, and personality - God has a purpose for them.
And we are to discover and live that purpose - our purpose.
Because God never makes mistakes, nothing He does was a result of an accident.
Some children may be born to parents who weren’t even expecting them. But God expected them. He knows when we would be born.
And as the PDL book state’s on chapter 2, God was already thinking of man when He created the earth. He designed it so that man, we, would be able to live in it - land, air, water, trees, and all providence that are necessary for us live in this planet.
We are all part of His great plan - to share and experience His love.
And as last verse of the poem of Russell Kelfer in the chapter says:
You are who you are for a reason
You’ve been formed by the Master’s rod.
You are who you are, beloved,
Because there is a God.
