There is sun behind the clouds

There is sun behind the clouds
by Roy

So many days has been
The sky is full of clouds
Clouds of trials and frustrations
Enveloped our life

Faith weakens, hopes fade,
As we stumble in darkness

Rain falls, and strongly,
Dampening our spirit
And even washing away
Our slightest of hopes

But fret not, hold on,
Things are not always what they seem

It won’t rain forever,
And the clouds aren’t going to stay
Hold on to a stronger faith,
Remember…

Behind the clouds
The sun continues to shine

This poem was written for a friend whose place was terribly affected then by the explosion of Mt. Pinatubo. Wherever she is, I hope she can read this.

Yes, it’s a meaningful poem expressing one’s deep sentiments from his heart and soul. Poetry is an expression of the heart and soul where we try to reach out for the unknown. But in everything, there is always hope for a better tomorrow. We just hold on to God’s promises and in His unfailing love. Thanks for the poem. God bless you always.

Wh is she? I mean, what happened when Pinatubo erupted?

The poem is lovely. It happens that I just posted in here yesterday something full of inspiration and value to what is existing…something that gives hope and something that we can look forward to. It is a beautiful feeling when we feel something right and bright is waiting us ahead.

Beautiful composition!

A co-worker then who lives in Bamban, one of the places hardest hit by Pinatubo in Central Luzon then. I don’t know where she is now, I believe she already staying overseas with her family.

Thanks for your comment Webbie

I like this poem. We just really need to be strong in every trials that will come in our way because sooner or later everything will be fine again.
